The new Linn 343 sets out to redefine what’s possible from a compact, fully active loudspeaker.
Combining Linn’s innovative Pistonik drive unit technology with sophisticated onboard electronics, the 343 delivers impressive scale, precise imaging and deep, controlled bass, all within an elegant cabinet designed to complement any home.
The 343 is the first Linn loudspeaker designed from the outset around Pistonik technology. Its 8-inch down-firing bass driver and 6-inch upper bass driver deliver weighty, detailed bass, while the distinctive cabinet design helps minimise sound diffraction and maintains a slim, elegant profile. Cleverly housed electronics sit within a mechanically isolated rear chimney, providing efficient, fanless cooling.
When we visited the Linn factory for the launch, we were all struck by just how attractive the 343s are. With a clever design that makes them appear to float on their bases, they’re very impressive in person.
We now have the Linn 343 on demonstration in-store, so if you’re passing, pop in and see them for yourself.
As with their bigger siblings, the 343 is available in two configurations:
Exakt Integrated – £65,000: Features Linn’s Exakt digital crossover, Organik DACs, Utopik power supply, Power DAC architecture and Adaptive Bias Control amplification for a fully integrated system. Available to hear in-store now.
PWAB (Passive With Active Bass) – £45,000: Allows you to use your own amplification, with active bass drive to get the best from the Pistonik technology.
