The Linn 343 combines reference-level performance with a compact design that fits comfortably into any home. It is the first loudspeaker designed around Linn’s Pistonik drive unit technology from the outset, bringing together advanced bass engineering, a carefully designed cabinet and sophisticated onboard electronics.
The result is a loudspeaker that delivers impressive scale, precise imaging and natural musical detail without dominating your living space.
At the heart of the 343 is Linn’s Pistonik technology, developed to deliver powerful, controlled bass with exceptional linearity and low distortion.
An 8-inch down-firing bass driver provides depth and authority, while a 6-inch Pistonik upper-bass driver reproduces the body and weight of music with precision. Together, they deliver a convincing sense of scale while maintaining clarity and composure across the frequency range.
The 343’s moulded composite cabinet combines strength and rigidity with a smooth, curved shape and slim proportions. Its continuous, rounded form helps reduce unwanted sound diffraction, supporting accurate imaging and consistent sound across a wide listening area.
The curved base also accommodates the down-firing bass driver, allowing Linn to maximise internal volume without compromising the speaker’s compact design.
A dedicated rear module houses the electronics, mechanically isolated from the cabinet using a three-point spring mounting system to minimise vibration. A silent, chimney-style cooling system dissipates heat without the need for fans.
The Linn 343 is available in two versions:
Exakt Integrated – Features Linn’s Exakt digital crossover, Organik DACs, Utopik power supply, Power DAC architecture and Adaptive Bias Control amplification for a fully integrated system.
Passive with Active Bass (PWAB) – Uses the same Pistonik bass drivers and integrated bass amplification, with your existing external amplification required for the upper-bass, midrange and tweeter array.
