Naim have introduced their latest New Classic range of products under the 200 Series banner and consists of the NSC 222 pre-amplifier/streamer, the new NAP 250 power amplifier, and finally the NPX 300 power supply. The new range is available to order or demonstrate straight away.
Instead of our normal evening events, we'll be hosting an open day on Saturday 28th January to let you hear them yourself. It'll run between 11:00am and 4:00pm and be open on a walk-in basis. As we're limited on space we encourage you to contact us ahead of time so we can be aware of numbers but this isn't essential. As usual, we'll be serving refreshments on the day and encourage you to bring along friends or your partner who might be interested in the new range.
The range starts with the NSC 222 which is a (vastly superior) replacement to the NAC-N 272 pre-amplifier streamer and would be a serious contender for anyone considering an upgrade without necessarily replacing their current power amplifier. The NSC 222 is feature-packed yet manages to keep things simple without compromising on musical quality. Precision engineered and designed in the UK, this new design features a world of music and radio streaming, alongside vinyl and headphone support - plus a full-spec analogue pre-amplifier. Partner with the new NAP 250 power amplifier for the ultimate âjust add speakersâ pairing.
Now in its sixth generation and having been in production since 1975, the NAP 250 is in some way the very foundation of Naim. This is much more than just a facelift and the new unit packs a serious punch, delivering more power than ever before; state-of-the-art engineering provides unrivalled performance, greater system-matching and flexibility.
Finally, the NPX 300 power supply replaces a whole host of older power supplies (e.g. XPS, Hi-Cap and SuperCap) and can function as both a smart power supply for digital products and a standard power supply for any future analogue-only products in the range. As NPX 300 is also backwards compatible with some of the Old Classic range, you can take musical performance to the next level with this instant upgrade from the new Naim 200 Series.
Naim have gone to extensive lengths to ensure a high degree of cross-compatibility between the New Classic and Old Classic ranges and are producing a range of cables to allow this.
